Join the campaign!

We are ready to fight for the legal rights of children and young people with SEND and we need you to join us.

There are several ways you can get involved with the Save Our Children’s Rights campaign, depending on your time and preferences: 

1. SUBSCRIBE: The campaign website has a mailing list you can sign up to.
2. TELL THEM! Respond to the consultation and write to your MP using this template letter on the IPSEA website.
3. HELP OUT! We are recruiting SEND parent groups and organisations to share their knowledge and share our message. We are also creating a volunteer bank of individuals who have time to share their skills: from organising, admin, fundraising, digital/web/social, local organising. Add your details below.
4. DISCUSS IT! We have a Facebook Group you can join to share what you’re doing and discuss the proposals.
5. SEND IN! Submit a photo or video to our photo campaign: “Because of my legal rights”
6. SHARE IT! Follow our social media accounts: Facebook and Instagram Spread the word on social media using the hashtag #SaveOurChildrensRights #NotInOurName

This campaign is not just for those with a disabled child or those who work within the SEND system. Changes to the law would impact every classroom in England.

We should all be concerned by the prospect of a government rolling back the rights of some of the most vulnerable in our society. Whether you are directly affected or not, we ask you to help defend children’s rights.
